This is a rather unusual sketch for me, in all honesty. I very rarely do a sketch using just one piece of paper anymore. 1 paper is the body & face, another is the clothing, another is the hair, and a last one is other miscellanous parts that just didn't fit (wings, hats, face paint...). Then, at the very end, I combine them all into 1 picture. Rather complicated process, but it insures that if I screw up somewhere, as I often do, I'm free to go back to the last step and start over - without having to erase.

This sketch used the old method of "one sketch, one piece of paper." Despite that, and my fear it wouldn't turn out well... it turned out okay. Xellos's face bothers me a little, but Zelgadis's face ended up looking absolutely wonderful, in my opinion. My first successful attempt to draw them in "my style." ^_^

UPDATE 9/23/05: Okay, I went back and penned the sketch in.  Yay for me!  I like it better penned in; cleaner lines.  For those who prefer it, though, I still have a link to the old sketch at the bottom of this page.
