I liked the dynamics between Chris and Hugo. They had so much between them as far as horrible mistakes, lack of forgiveness, forgiveness, friendship, respect…. I think that between the two of them, they shared almost every emotion humans have given name to.

Anyway, the thought behind this pic was combining Hugo's frustration, anger, and sadness toward Chris, with his respect and care for her. I know Chris would be confused on how to take that. She'd be embarrassed and unable to cry, but even more embarrassed that she couldn't cry. This was my depiction of their situation. (it was drawn about 2 years ago? Slightly more?)
