LINA INVERSE
Slayers
She loves treasure, food, money, food, magic, and food. ^_^ She also happens to be the best sorceress around. With powerful spells like Dragon Slave & Giga Slave in her arsenal, no one is able to beat her.
I fell in love with Lina because she didn't take any crap from anyone - male or female. She's willing to do a lot to get what she wants - but only to a certain point. On top of all this, she's independent and intelligent. After just "moving on" from Sailor Moon, how could I NOT adore Lina?

RANMA-CHAN
Ranma 1/2
When doused with cold water, the normally male Ranma turns into a busty red-headed girl. "Ranma-chan" is his more feminine aspect, doing what the male Ranma cannot, including using his looks to get what he wants and flirting. ^^ She does what she needs to win, and won't take crap from anyone.
Hmm... This may be cheating, to use a guy who turns into a girl on a list of "fave girls," but I see "Ranma-chan" as a very different person than Ranma himself. Their personalities are dissimilar in key ways, despite being the same person. |

SUNAKO
The Wallflower: Yamatonadeshiko Shichihenge
Sunako is the scariest girl in the world. Plants die when she passes, and lights mysteriously go out. She adores horror movies, and her best friends are a skeleton and 2 anatomical figures. She likes the dark, and pretty people make her get nose bleeds. She doesn't care about fashion or being pretty, but is a great cook and can kick butt better than anyone.
Sunako hasn't looked at herself in two years, nor has anyone else. Even once they see her, she isn't pretty right off the bat - it takes the combined efforts of four guys to reveal the beautiful girl hiding underneath.
...Don't you feel sorry for the poor, pretty boys who are supposed to turn her into a "real lady?" Heh heh... A strangely human character woman can identify with. (Note: Put the mouse over Sunako's picture for another version of her!) |

YAMAGUCHI KUMIKO - "YANKUMI"

Yankumi is the granddaughter of a famous yakuza boss. Because her parents died when she was a child, she's been raised in her grandfather's yakuza household. However, she decided to become a math teacher - a choice her "family" supports wholeheartedly. But on her first teaching assignment, she's assigned the worst, dumbest class in the school...
Don't let her pigtails and sweatsuits fool you! She's an incredible fighter (a fact she tries - unsuccessfully - to hide). When pissed or frightened, she tends to revert back to yakuza slang. Yankumi is incredibly protective of her students, and is one of the only teachers to look past the bad wrap her students get. She always tries her hardest. |

Hitomi was just a normal high school girl, until she got pulled into the world of Gaia. Suddenly, all her predictions are coming true, and she's caught in the middle of a massive war... What role will she play?
Hitomi is a sane person caught in an insane position, and deals with it as well as she can. She manages to stay cheerful, strong willed, and true to herself. While she gets kidnapped quite a few times, she does a bit of rescuing herself, and always makes the best of whatever situation she's in.
