CRITERIA FOR PICKING A FANFIC: Was there a good mix of seriousness, comedy, and plot? Were there possibilities of romance that I could latch onto? Were there any significant characters that held my interest? Better yet, were there several? Was the fanfic well written? Is the fanfic finished? Did the fanfic contain moments which stuck long after I'd finished the story? Does the fanfic touch on any of my major dislikes?

Ashvolt's Notes: How many times can I say I adore this fic? It cemented me as a permanent Sephiroth x Cloud fan. Oh, and guess who else returns from the grave. ^___^ I wish I had this author's ability for fleshing out characters and getting in their heads!

Ashvolt's Notes: A wonderful story that explores the relationship between Harry and Draco. Since the plot device of "love potion" is most often used and abused, it was wonderful to see an author treat it seriously, fully exploring the ramifications such a potion could have.

Ashvolt's Notes: Heh heh, I hadn't even heard of the game before I began reading the fic! But I love the author, who also wrote "A Long Hard Road," so I couldn't resist. After a few chapters, I went out, bought the game, and played it. If it wasn't for the author's fic, though, I doubt I would have liked either Homunculus or Eike half so much.

Considering the sad lack of Yankumi x Shin fics on the net, I highly recommend this one! |

Ashvolt's Notes: Saitou and Sano are kept in-character, and despite this, the author manages to get the two of them together. It's easy to see something like this happening. Fics like this turned me into a total Saitou/Sano fangirl! ^___^ |
