TITLE: A Willing Spirit

TIMELINE: Takes place soon after the end of Chapter 6, Volume 5 in the English version (or Chapter 44, in Japanese).  Kagome has seen Inu-Yasha turn human for the first time, they know Shippo and Sesshomaru, but Kikyo, Sango & Miroku haven't entered.  Inu-Yasha is a jerk to Kagome most of the time.  This is very early in the Inuyasha manga.

SUMMARY: When Inu-Yasha suddenly disappears into a jewel, Kagome and company fear the worst...  They think he's dead and gone.  Kagome has to pick up her life in the present again, and bear with her grief over losing him. 

It's the beginning of a new school year, and Kagome is a sophomore in high school with her friends.  It's then that she sees a senior who looks a lot like Inu-Yasha...
