Lina & company tend to break objects of magical nature, intentional or not. What if one of those objects was put back together? Who did it, and why? Will they track down Lina, so they show off the object's power? Or will Lina hear about on the road? What is her reaction?
Zelgadis is given a chance to turn human, while still keeping his chimera form. Can he control the change, or does something have to trigger it? Does he tell his companions about it, or does he hide it because it's not a full cure? Does he even take the chance, or does he refuse, because he wants that elusive full cure?
Gourry gets married to Sylphiel (or some other character). Lina is without a partner again. Who steps in to fill Gourry's place?
Sorceresses lose their magical powers once a month for... erm, delicate reasons. Guys don't have "that time of the month"... as far as we know... or do they? Is there any time that a guy would naturally lose their powers for a limited amount of time? (This does not include spells that take away powers.)
Lina's scary big sister, Luna, tracks Lina down for some reason. What is that reason? Is Luna able to calm Lina down long enough to explain what the reason is? Does Luna have to travel with Lina, until whatever needs to be done is done?
A new enemy appears, and it's a fish man like Noonsa! Will Lina & company be able to take it seriously long enough to defeat it? What if it had a crush on Lina?
In the OVA, the Shadow Reflection creates duplicates of Lina and Naga... except their personalities are the exact opposite. What if one or both of these doubles came back? What have they been doing all this time? Were they deliberately seeking Lina & company, or was it accidental?
Someone needs to learn the Giga Slave spell, at any cost. Why do they need to learn it? How do they find out that Lina can cast it? Do they know what the Giga Slave actually does?
What if Lina never met one of her companions, like Gourry, Zelgadis, Amelia, or Xellos? How would this change events in the series? Can their role be filled by other people, or are they essential to the series?
What if another piece of Shabranigdo broke free/was reborn? Who was the sacrafice to make Shabranigdo appear again? Do Lina & company hear about it before or after it happens? What do they do when they find out? |
What happened in any of the character’s pasts?
Lina’s deathly afraid of her sister, Luna. Why? Does she have any other siblings? What about her parents? Why did she leave home?
Was Gourry always that forgetful? Who are his parents and siblings? Why did he strike out on his own? How is Rowdy related to Gourry? (Rowdy is from “Slayers: the Motion Picture.”)
Zelgadis never talks about his family, or his past. Do they even know that he was turned into a chimera? Is his family rich, poor, royalty, peasants? Why was he so obsessed with becoming strong? Was he an orphan?
What was Xellos’s upbringing like? Was he born a mazoku, or did he have a human life? Who helped teach him in the early days?
Zelgadis gets the cure to his chimera state. Now what? Would the magical powers he enjoys as a chimera be the same as a human, or would he lose that ability? How strong would he be as a human? Would he really be satisfied as a human, now that he’s been super strong, super fast, and a very powerful sorerer? Could he really give all that up? Is there someother reason he wants to become human again? Was there something he lost that was very important to him when he was turned into a chimera? Would he be strong enough to survive Lina’s company as a mere human? Could he now admit his love to another character?
Zelgadis hates Rezo for turning him into a chimera. What if there was another reason, too? What would this reason be, and why hasn't he ever told anyone?
It's never been explained how Sylphiel first meets Gourry, and why she has such hero worship of him. Explain this event.
Xellos is given strange orders from his mistress: protect another Slayers character at all costs! Why would Zelas order this? Who does she want him to protect?
Prince Phil wants Amelia to marry. What if Lina & company were brought in as bodyguards against the more determined suitors? Does Amelia meet anyone she likes enough to marry? |
